As previously mentioned Mother has a spare bed in Melanie's room because she doesn't like sleeping alone. She had been in a real routine of just going straight to Melanie's room but lately she has been sleeping in her own bed; I think it's because she has new friends sleeping with her.

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI read your profile (and some of your posts) and can totally relate to what you are saying. I never thought I'd find myself losing my mom so young either. She was diagnosed with semantic dementia (a form of ftd) earlier this year at 50 years old. It's been hard to come to terms with. I find talking with others to be therapeutic. I created a blog, as well as a facebook page, to raise awareness on the disease and to share our journey with others. Feel free to stay in touch...it helps to be connected with others who understand what you are going through!
